Single Name on Passport

Applicants with a single name (no surname/last name) should apply for a Visa-on-Arrival (with pre-approval letter) or a Sticker Visa through the Vietnamese Embassy. MMT can help with the pre-approval letter requirement for the Visa-on-Arrival option at an additional cost post booking.

Visa Fee

Visa fee and service provider fee are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in the exchange rate.

Passport Validity

The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of return and should have at least two blank pages.

Printed e-Visa Copy

Vietnam offers e-Visa, however as per Immigration guidelines it is mandatory to carry the printout of the e-Visa.

Will I get a refund if I cancel my visa?

If the application is not submitted to the embassy and cancellation is done, we will only refund the visa embassy fee. Service and processing charges will not be refunded.

What do you mean by Visa fee?

It is a non-refundable fee levied by the Consulate of Vietnam for processing visa applications. Visa fee can vary for different types of visa.

My passport does not have my surname. Can I apply for e-Visa?

Once I arrive at Vietnam, what will be the immigration process?

All visitors must carry a printout of their approved e-Visa along with their original passport. The final decision to approve or deny entry to the country lies solely with the Vietnam immigration authorities.

What do you mean by visa processing time?

The overall time taken to process a visa is known as the visa processing time. Vietnam visa usually takes 4-6 working days to process once you submit your application and required documents.

What happens if my travel dates change after getting an e-Visa?

If your new travel dates fall within the validity period of e-Visa, then you can continue your trip with the same visa. However, if your new travel dates fall outside the validity period of the e-Visa, then you will need to apply for a new e-Visa.
