Overstaying your visa in Indonesia incurs a fine of IDR 1,000,000 per day. Please note, the fine amount may change without prior notice.

How do I apply for an Indonesia visa at the embassy?

While you can apply for a visa at the Indonesian Embassy, it requires more documents (like proof of funds and travel itinerary) and takes longer compared to the online e-VoA process. We recommend applying online for quicker processing. It’s convenient, hassle-free, and allows you to track your application anytime.

Can I apply for an Indonesia e-VoA if my passport is about to expire?

No. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of your intended return to India. If your passport is close to expiry, it may lead to e-VoA rejection. To avoid delays, renew your passport before applying for the visa. Ensuring valid documents helps smooth entry and stress-free travel to Indonesia.

How will I receive my Indonesia e-VoA?

Once your e-VoA is approved, it will be sent to your registered email. You can also download it from ‘GPTV’. Make sure to carry a printed or digital copy for verification at the immigration counter.

Can I make corrections to my Indonesia e-VoA application after submission?

Once submitted, you cannot make any changes to your e-VoA application. If you find an error, you will need to submit a new application and pay the fee again.

Can I enter Indonesia earlier than the date specified on my e-VoA?

No. You cannot enter Indonesia before the start date mentioned on your e-VoA. Ensure your travel plans align with the e-VoA’s validity period.

What is the difference between the validity period of my Indonesia e-VoA and the length of stay?

Validity Period: This refers to the window in which you must enter Indonesia. For example, if your e-VoA is valid from January 1 to March 31, you must enter Indonesia on or before March 31. Length of Stay: This is the number of days you are allowed to remain in Indonesia after entry. For example, if your e-VoA allows for a 30-day stay, you must leave within 30 days of your arrival, regardless of when you entered.
Extension: To stay longer, you must apply for an e-VoA extension at the Indonesian immigration website while your e-VoA is still valid.

Can I change the dates on my Indonesia e-VoA after approval?

No, once your Indonesia e-VoA has been approved, the dates on it cannot be altered. If your travel plans change, you will need to apply for a new e-VoA with the updated travel dates. Contact a GPTV Visa Consultant if you need assistance with this process.
